It’s November so we can officially talk about Christmas without being lynched right?
Well we hope so, because our latest spot for Digicel through Boys and Girls is super-Christmassy – think handfuls of shiny bags packed with gifts, twinkling Christmas lights and even a freshly-baked gingerbread house.
Through a series of fun Christmas ‘dilemmas’ the spot shows how we use our phones to connect with each other and be, as the campaign line posits, ‘Better Together’.
The commercial was shot in Kingston, Jamaica, so it was important to capture the unique flavour of the local locations and the cast, adding rich character and texture to the piece.
It was certainly a challenge to create an ad for the entire Digicel world of 32 countries, but with sounding too cheesy we think the spot manages to speak the universal language of Christmas.
